    Working within the research line on Auxiliary and Energy Systems for Railway Traction under the contract art. 60 LOSU ref. FUO-19-135, as part of the Railway Traction Chains research line developed by the Electric Drives and Power Converters (AECP) Research Group at the University of Oviedo. The main tasks include:

    • Pre-processing and analysis of train fleet data.
    • Development of fault detection algorithms using Machine Learning techniques.
    • Programming and implementation of the developed algorithms.

    Predoctoral research under the “Severo Ochoa” scolarship program for research and teaching. PhD in robotic system and profilometric sensors integration for surface defects detection in production lines.
  3. Researcher

    University of Oviedo

    CN-18-011 Project: Research and Development of Robots for Inspecting and Repairing Heavy Steel Plates. Project Collaboration: University of Oviedo & Daorje S.L.U. The main tasks include:

    • Design, implementation, integration, and testing of onboard sensor systems for the robot.
    • Development of a robot localization system in ROS.
    • Path planning for robot-based inspection and repair of steel plates.
    • 2D reconstruction of the inspected plates to identify defects marked by an operator.

    Project signed between University of Oviedo and ArcelorMittal Spain S.A. The main tasks include electrical storage simulation:

    • PCB board design for the analog/digital interface.
    • Three-phase back-to-back power converter design.
